About Wheatbelt NRM
Wheatbelt Natural Resource Management is a non-profit organisation working in partnership with community, biodiversity, agriculture and government to provide regional leadership and direction for sustainable land use and the conservation of natural resources in the Avon River Basin of Western Australia.
About the Role
We’re seeking a dynamic Project Manager to assist the Aboriginal NRM Ranger Coordinator, supervising a team of Aboriginal Rangers in delivering high-impact natural resource management and cultural land care projects. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you’ll juggle project oversight, safety leadership, training coordination, and stakeholder partnerships, all while ensuring smooth operations in a commercial contract setting. If you thrive in managing logistics, budgets, and training while keeping an eye on the big picture of business growth, this is the job for you!
Beyond logistics, this role is about people, culture, and connection. You’ll work alongside the Aboriginal Ranger Program Coordinator, helping to grow Noongar jobs, skills, and community-led NRM initiatives. With a strong focus on relationship-building with Elders, clients, and funders, you’ll play a key role in expanding Cultural Custodianship services and supporting the team’s professional and cultural development.
